While looking for a list of human achievements, whether more or less refined, we may always consult The Guinness Book of Records.

It provides extensive information on construction, technology and research accomplishments, as well as detailed descriptions of such things as who the tallest, the shortest, the fattest or the thinnest person is. One can also find unconventional records noted down in it.

However, if we wished to include in The Guinness Book of Records a list of accomplishments and unusual events that marked the pontificate of St. John Paul II in the Church, it would inevitably turn out that we need to make a separate book,or even separate books, listing numerous phenomena worth our attention. Pope John Paul II, the great helmsman of the Catholic Church, indeed started numerous absolutely new chapters in its history.

The Holy Father John Paul II, the Vicar of Christ on Earth, guided the Holy Church throughout its transition from the 20th century into the 21st century. He played a crucial role in the history of the world. His 27 year-long pontificate was absolutely innovative and abounded with 'records'. The present exhibition focuses precisely on this aspect of his pontificate.

The exhibition is open to the public on each Sunday after the Holy Mass.
